engagements|ziad + mais|new york, new york

when mais and ziad explained to me what they wanted to do for their engagement i could barely contain my excitement.  riding bikes around manhattan and a picnic lunch, how can you not love that?  it soon dawned on me that the date we picked for the shoot was two days after a big wedding i was shooting.  that meant i would be shooting the wedding saturday, driving eleven hours from detroit to new york alone on sunday, then shooting ziad and mais on monday.  if anything was going to test my love for my profession this was surely going to be it.  well im happy to say that i made it through and had a ton of fun along the way.  i would gladly do it again too if it meant working with people like ziad and mais.  they absolutely made the trip for me.
