perryn and sarah met in metro-detroit and have since traveled to chicago and now washington d.c. chicago still holds a special place in their hearts so we decided to do their engagement shoot there in their old stomping grounds. we started off at their old apartment building and worked our way down to the riverfront where perryn proposed, passing some chicago landmarks along the way. it was an absolutely gorgeous night with sarah and perryn making it an absolute blast. i had so much fun with these two that i didn’t even mind the four and a half hour drive that followed immediately after the shoot!
For the wider shots with the large out of focus area are you using the “BRENIZER METHOD aka BOKEHRAMA” or is that accomplished via photoshop or some other software?
no software edward. im actually using a tilt-shift lens to get that look. you can do it in post but nothing looks better than using the actual thing. thanks for writing!
