david and kendra’s wedding represented them perfectly. they have amazing style and the wedding was one of the warmest and most heartfelt that i have ever been to. the setting at the whitney and belle isle could not have been more perfect for their november wedding. make sure to scroll through the entire wedding, it gets better and better.

i’m not sure that samik and forum could have asked for a more beautiful day for their chicago engagement shoot. the shoot started off with a beautiful sliver of sunlight on the roof of their building and ended with some night shots along michigan avenue. it was pretty much perfect.

cranbrook is one of my favorite places to photograph and visit, so when james and beth decided on it for their engagement session i immediately became excited. springtime in michigan isn’t always the most picturesque, but the sun was out and the grounds were in decent enough shape for a shoot. a shoot i am quite happy with.

i had to browse through thousands of photos to pick my 2011 wedding favorites, which turned out to be a delightful, albeit time consuming, way to appreciate the last year. it was difficult to narrow down all of my favorites, but i think i did a halfway decent job showcasing my best work. hope you enjoy!

it was incredibly difficult to narrow down my favorite engagement shots from 2011 into one post. there were so many great sessions that took me throughout michigan, to chicago, new york city as well as florida. it took me several nights to choose and there are so many photographs that i wanted to post but had to resist. i very easily could have doubled or tripled the amount of shots im sharing so i decided to post this before i started questioning omissions. hope you enjoy!
